Belfast Harbour has been named Winner of Winners at the 2026 Chamber Business Awards, alongside its Connecting Places Award. The British Chambers of Commerce published the national winners on 15 October 2026, recognising businesses within the Chamber of Commerce network.

The overall award selected Belfast Harbour from the five national category winners. The organiser highlighted its contribution to Northern Ireland's trade, infrastructure, communities and long-term prosperity: a business story whose impact extends beyond its own operations.

The Five Category Winners

  • Future of Work Award: Osbit.
  • Connecting Places Award: Belfast Harbour.
  • Digital Revolution Award: Care Messenger Holdings.
  • Global Britain Award: Kimal.
  • Green Innovation Award: SNOAP.

Belfast Harbour's overall recognition sits alongside its category win; the other businesses above are the national winners in their respective categories.

Show Who Benefits from Your Business Success

For your next entry, start with the category that best matches your strongest evidence. A technology improvement, an export story and a workforce initiative need different supporting material. Explain the problem, what your team changed and the result over a defined period, rather than relying on a list of activities.

Then look beyond the business itself. Which customers, employees, suppliers or communities benefited, and how can you demonstrate the difference? Pair relevant measurements with a concrete example or feedback from someone affected. Belfast Harbour's recognition connects commercial activity with wider regional prosperity; your entry should make its own link between business performance and practical impact equally clear.

An independent reader should be able to follow that story without knowing your organisation. Crafting Winning Awards Entries provides a practical framework for turning your evidence into a clear problem, solution and result.
