The Digiday Media Awards 2026 have a last-chance deadline of 20 November 2026 at 23:59 PST. The current fee is $729 per entry. If you submit the same campaign to several categories, the fee applies to each category, so choose the strongest fit before committing your budget.
Check the Work You Plan to Enter
The official entry kit says case studies must be relevant to August 2025 to November 2026. Check your project dates and category requirements before drafting. Convert the published PST cutoff to your own timezone and leave time for internal approvals and payment.
Categories include Best Zero-Click Strategy, Best Direct Reader Revenue Approach and Best Newsletter. They ask different questions: engaging audiences on zero-click platforms is not the same achievement as generating reader revenue. Start with what your work demonstrably changed, then choose the category whose description matches it.
Build the Entry Around Results
The published judging criteria are Innovation, Creativity, Consumer Value, Results and Overall. Judges require evidence and also consider the structure, presentation and clarity of each entry.
Explain the problem, your response and the results. Connect audience or commercial outcomes to the objectives you set, rather than presenting a collection of impressive but unrelated metrics. Assemble relevant KPIs, financial results, campaign images, video or project links that help judges understand the work. The entry kit recommends concise writing and tailoring entries to each category.
Use Crafting Winning Awards Entries to organise your evidence and narrative, then ask someone outside the project to check whether the impact is clear.
Agree What Can Be Shared
The programme page says submitted material remains confidential to the judges, while the Credits section is made public through shortlist and winner announcements. It also says winning entries may be summarised for announcements and winners guides. Agree credits and permissions with partners before submitting; confidential supporting evidence and public recognition need different checks.
The linked submission platform identifies this as the 2026 programme. Use that current application route and review the prompts before finalising your entry.
