The British Council for Offices announced on 2 November 2026 that nominations for the BCO Honours 2027 are open. Entries close at 17:00 on Monday 14 December 2026. The announcement does not specify a timezone; confirm the cutoff with the organiser before planning a last-day nomination.
Recognise the Contribution Behind the Scenes
The Honour recognises an individual within the BCO membership who has given time, expertise and energy to the organisation without asking for anything in return. It is a member-focused recognition of service, rather than the main BCO Awards competition for workplace projects.
Use the official nomination survey to explain who you are nominating and why. Build your case around specific contributions and the difference they made. Examples of sustained support, knowledge shared or improvements for other people will be more useful than a list of job titles.
Plan for the Recognition
The BCO presidential team will judge nominations. The winner will be announced at the BCO Honours Dinner at the Camden Roundhouse on 25 February 2027, receive a special BCO award and be gifted lifetime honorary membership.
Keep the nomination and any dinner booking separate: the announcement links to tickets, but does not state an entry fee. Check the current submission requirements before sending personal information.
