The BOLD Awards VIII submission deadline is 30 December 2026, ahead of the 2027 ceremony. That leaves 64 days from this check to prepare an entry for a digital-economy project. The official timeline and FAQ agree on the closing date but do not specify a closing time or timezone: confirm these with the organiser before planning a last-day submission.

Check the Project, Not Just the Idea

Individuals, companies and organisations can enter from anywhere in the world. Your project must fit one of the 12 categories, be beyond the idea stage and have been launched or implemented within the past two years. Match your strongest results to the category criteria before committing time or money.

The entry guidance asks for a 300–1,500-word project description, a project image or logo, a project or company URL and any additional supporting materials. Explain what changed, who benefited and how you can prove it. Crafting Winning Awards Entries can help you turn those materials into a focused story.

Budget for Entry and Finalist Attendance

The FAQ and current timeline list a €297 submission fee. Each company may submit one entry per category; a separate entry in another eligible category attracts another fee. Check the current checkout terms before paying.

Finalists must attend the ceremony or have at least one representative present. The FAQ lists a regular gala ticket price of €1,375, with each Top Finalist able to buy up to two tickets at €895 per seat. Attendance is a separate budget decision from the submission fee: agree travel and representation before entering.

Prepare for the Public Stage

The edition timeline places public voting in January 2027, jury evaluation in February 2027 and the gala dinner on 9 April 2027 in Barcelona, Spain. Accepted entries are published when public voting opens, and the FAQ says submitted information may be used in awards publicity. Obtain client and colleague permissions and review confidential details before submitting your materials.

Create your account through the official entry guidance, leave time for an independent review and complete the payment step. The FAQ allows changes before the 30 December 2026 submission deadline; use that time to strengthen the evidence rather than relying on a last-minute rewrite.
