Applications for the Club Hub Awards 2027 opened on 2 November 2026 at midday and close on 18 January 2027 at midday. The programme recognises businesses and individuals in the UK's children's activities sector, with 17 award categories and a separate Top 100 Children's Activity Providers list.

Check Membership and Costs

You must be a Club Hub member to enter. The official awards page lists an entry fee of £21 including VAT per business owner for Bronze members. Entry is included in Charity, Silver and Gold memberships, with no additional entry fee.

The one entry fee covers as many award categories as you wish to enter and the Top 100 list. Check the category descriptions before choosing: a focused application that demonstrates the relevant achievement is stronger than the same general business story repeated across several categories.

Choose the Right Route

New categories include Customer Experience Award, Early Years Excellence Award, Industry Champion and Small Business Champion. The latter is for businesses with fewer than five staff members. Start-Up of the Year is for businesses trading for less than three years at the event in May 2027.

The Top 100 list has a separate application and judging panel. Applicants must personally teach classes or run activities in the UK. Its five assessment areas are Activity Benefits, Safeguarding, Inclusivity, Community Impact and Business Achievements. Award entries are assessed through applications, with no public voting.

Prepare Evidence and Plan Attendance

Build your application around the difference your work makes to children and families. Combine measurable results with relevant feedback, explain the starting point and show what changed. Match each example to the selected category, and secure permission before including identifiable children's stories or images.

Entering confirms that you can attend the event; the organiser says attendance and proof of intention may be required for an application to progress. The 2027 ticket page confirms 8 May 2027 at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham. A lower section of the awards page still prints 8 May 2026, while its main event details and the ticket page give 2027. Confirm the date and attendance arrangements with the organiser before booking travel.
