The final deadline for the Digiday Media Awards Europe cycle described in the organiser's 2027 entry kit is 15 January 2027. The programme page gives the same date, but the lower regular entry fee ends on 20 November 2026. Plan for both dates rather than treating November as the final opportunity.

There is an important edition-label conflict: the linked submission portal still displays 2026, while the entry kit is labelled 2027. We follow the kit and the matching programme calendar for this article. Confirm the correct submission round with the awards team before paying; do not assume the portal label is harmless.

Budget Per Category, Not Just Per Campaign

The published fees are:

  • Regular deadline: 20 November 2026, €409 per entry.
  • Last-chance deadline: 15 January 2027, €469 per entry.
  • Closing time: 23:59 PST for all deadlines, as stated on the programme page.

The early deadline has already passed. The kit says fees apply per category: entering the same campaign in several categories incurs a fee for each category entered. Convert the stated timezone and set an internal deadline that leaves room for approval and payment.

Make the Evidence Match the Category

The programme recognises companies, campaigns and technology modernising European media. Categories include Best Zero-Click Strategy and Best Creator Marketing Strategy. Choose the category whose objectives your results can demonstrate, rather than submitting the same general success story everywhere.

The organiser lists Innovation, Creativity, Consumer Value, Results and Overall as judging criteria. Judges require supporting evidence, which may include financial performance, KPIs, campaign images, a sizzle reel or project links. The kit recommends a problem–solution–results structure and connecting outcomes to campaign objectives. For a practical writing framework, see Crafting Winning Awards Entries.

Clarify the Eligibility Window and Public Credits

The kit says case studies must be relevant to October 2025–January 2027. The programme page more generally refers to success over the past 12 months. Ask the organiser which window applies to your work rather than relying on that broader wording.

The programme page says entry material remains confidential to judges, but the Credits section becomes public through shortlist or winner announcements. It also says winning entries may be summarised for announcements and winners guides. Check client permissions and public credits before submission; confidentiality is not a promise that every detail will stay unpublished.
