Nominations for the FinTech Breakthrough Awards 2027 must be completed and submitted online by 8 January 2027 at 22:00 Eastern. There are 65 days from this check to explain how your company, product or service stands out in financial technology and to support that story with evidence.
Who Can Nominate
The official nomination page welcomes organisations worldwide, with no geographical restrictions. Companies may nominate themselves or be nominated by partners, PR and marketing agencies or other industry stakeholders. Previous winners are encouraged to reapply.
The same product or company can be submitted in multiple categories, provided each nomination is relevant to its selected category. Start by identifying your strongest result, then choose the category that best fits it rather than repeating the same general sales pitch across several categories.
Prepare a Focused Nomination
The organiser asks for nominations of approximately 500 words or less, explaining how the product, service or company breaks through in its specific part of the market. Submissions must be in English.
Include supporting materials as links within the open nomination field. The page gives case studies, white papers, product information and demo videos as examples. Make sure the links open correctly and support the claims you make. Entries sent by email or as hard copies will not be accepted: use the online form before the stated Eastern cutoff, not midnight in your own timezone.
Make the Innovation Useful to the Reader
Explain the problem your customers faced, what your solution changed and the outcome. Where relevant, demonstrate improved access, reduced friction, stronger security or a better financial experience with measurements your team can substantiate. Clarify the baseline and measurement period so the result is meaningful.
Pair the figures with relevant customer testimony and distinguish the contribution of your product from other factors. Before submitting, ask someone outside the project to check whether the nomination is understandable, specific to the selected category and supported by the linked evidence. Leave time for permissions and approval ahead of 8 January.
