Entries for the Global Business Tech Awards 2027 close on 10 December 2026. The final deadline is 52 days away, but the lowest published entry fee is available only until 5 November. These are different milestones: choose your submission date with both your evidence and your budget in mind.
The organiser describes the programme as recognising startups, scaleups, incubators, investors and organisations shaping innovation across the international technology landscape.
Dates and Fees to Plan Around
The official pricing page lists these fees, with VAT added where applicable:
- Super Early Bird: £205 per entry by 5 November 2026.
- Early Bird: £260 per entry by 26 November 2026.
- Final deadline: £315 per entry by 10 December 2026.
The homepage schedules the shortlist announcement for 29 January 2027 and the winners announcement for 18 February 2027. The pricing page does not specify a closing time or timezone; confirm these with the organiser rather than assuming midnight where you live.
Match the Form to the Category
The rules say entries should relate to work undertaken between August 2025 and December 2026. The 1000-word limit applies to the judging questions, not the company description or supporting documents.
You need a separate Word or PDF entry form for each submission. If you enter the same work in another category, adapt the answers and select the correct category. The organiser warns that a mismatch between the form and online category selection may prevent an entry from being judged.
Individual uploads must not exceed 2MB. Entry forms must be Word or PDF; supporting documents may be Word, PDF or JPEG. ZIP files and videos are not accepted as uploads, although links to online files are allowed. Read the official pricing and rules before submitting through the organiser's portal.
Use the Time to Prove Impact
Choose the category your evidence supports, not simply the one with the most appealing title. As preparation advice, explain the problem, what your technology changed and the result for the people or businesses using it. Combine measured outcomes with relevant testimonials, and make the measurement period clear.
Before submission, have someone outside the project check whether the story is understandable without specialist knowledge. Then check the current form, file sizes, category selection and approvals. A cheaper deadline is useful only if the entry is ready: do not trade evidence quality for a rushed submission.
