Entries for the Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO) 2027 are open, with a November deadline approaching. The programme welcomes eligible organisations from the worldwide mobile ecosystem, whether or not they are GSMA members. Before setting your submission plan, resolve a difference between the official pages.

Confirm Whether Your Cutoff Is 18 or 20 November

The 2027 Rules of Entry give Friday 20 November 2026 at 17:00 GMT as the official closing date. They require complete entries and full payment by that deadline.

However, the official entry guide says completed forms and payment must arrive by 18 November 2026 at 17:00 GMT. Its page title still refers to 2026, although its application guidance describes the 2027 cycle. Ask the GSMA Awards Team to confirm which deadline applies to your submission. Until you have confirmation, plan to finish by the earlier date rather than relying on the additional time.

Check Eligibility and Budget Before Paying

The rules cover mobile-industry businesses and supporting sectors worldwide, with eligibility defined separately for each category. Check your category's requirements, including product availability and mobile-connectivity conditions, before drafting. Not every award accepts submissions: some winners are selected at the judges' discretion.

Each entry requires its own fee. Payment is by credit card, entries are not processed until full payment has been received, and payments are non-refundable. Confirm the applicable category and membership rate before committing your budget.

Entries and written supporting material must be in English. Videos in another language are accepted with English subtitles. Build translation and checking time into your plan if your evidence was originally prepared in another language.

Make the Evidence Easy to Assess

Judges assess the information supplied against the category requirements. Start with the customer or industry problem, explain what you changed and show the result with relevant measurements and feedback. Crafting Winning Awards Entries can help you turn technical achievements into a clear account of impact.

The supporting-information allowance is a maximum of one specific web page linked by URL. Send judges directly to the evidence, not to a homepage they must search. App submissions may also require a download link and free access. Check the category requirements for any mandatory video.

Review sensitive material before submitting: the organiser's rules say confidentiality cannot be guaranteed across the external judging panel. Obtain any necessary client permissions and choose evidence you are authorised to share.

Keep the Event Window in View

The shortlist is due in February 2027. Award presentations are planned during MWC Barcelona, 1–4 March 2027; the ceremony's exact date and time are still to be announced.
