The Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Awards 2027 final entry deadline is 10 December 2026 at 13:00. The earlier submission deadline is 12 November 2026 at 13:00 GMT. The terms explicitly name GMT for the earlier deadline but do not repeat a timezone for the final one; confirm the final cutoff with the organiser and plan to submit ahead of it.
Check Your School and Activity
The awards welcome independent fee-paying day and boarding schools in the United Kingdom and Channel Islands, and independent overseas schools delivering a UK education. Applications must relate primarily to activity in the 2025/26 and 2026/27 academic years.
Choose the category that best fits an achievement you can demonstrate. Explain the educational challenge, what your school changed and the difference for pupils or the wider community. Combine relevant measures with specific feedback rather than relying on a general description of the school.
Use the Free Entry Carefully
The first category entry is free; further entries cost £95 each. There is one free entry per whole school, not a separate allowance for each department. Each submission needs its own form, tailored to the category criteria. Where Prep and Senior levels are available, entering both requires separate forms and payment unless one uses the school's free-entry credit.
Prepare the Form and Evidence
The terms require a completed entry form saved as a PDF of no more than 30 MB, plus a school logo. Gather supporting evidence such as evaluations, testimonials, inspection reports or images, and follow the upload instructions for compressed files and linked video. Obtain the necessary permissions for all material and review the organiser's publicity provisions before submission.
Ask someone outside the project to check that the entry makes a clear case. Crafting Winning Awards Entries can help you connect the challenge, action and result. Check that you receive submission confirmation; contact the organiser if it does not arrive.
Highly Commended and Finalist schools are due to be announced on 3 March 2027, followed by winners on 17 March 2027. Focus first on a complete, evidence-led entry before the December cutoff.
