Computing's Security Excellence Awards 2027 are open for free entries. The current homepage advertises Friday 27 November 2026 as the entry deadline, recognising cybersecurity organisations, products, projects, individuals and teams with a UK presence.

Confirm the Closing Date Before Planning Your Submission

There is a discrepancy to resolve: the timeline graphic on the official entry-criteria page shows 20 November, while the current homepage and page headers say 27 November. Confirm the applicable deadline directly with the organiser rather than assuming you have an additional week. The published deadline text does not specify a closing time or timezone; plan for the earlier date until you have confirmation.

Check Your UK Eligibility and Category

Entrants need a verifiable UK presence, which can include operations, clients or team members based in the UK. Companies must have traded in the UK for at least 12 months before the entry deadline. Check the product and service availability requirements on the entry-criteria page as well as the requirements of your chosen category.

New options for 2027 include Cyber Resilience Project of the Year and Security Changemaker Award. Choose the category that best matches what you can prove, not simply the one with the most appealing title.

The organiser requires factual, clear submissions rather than marketing copy or sales pitches. You can enter multiple categories, but each entry must be tailored: the same or similar content across categories will be rejected.

Show What Changed, Not Just What You Sell

Entry is free, but finalists are expected to attend the ceremony and fund their own place. The entry criteria also say the digital finalist logo is issued only after a table booking is confirmed. Include attendance in your budget before committing to the campaign.

The ceremony is scheduled for 15 April 2027 at The Tower Hotel, by Thistle, London.
