Training Industry announced its 2026 Learning Management System (LMS) Top 20 and Watch List on 22 October 2026, as part of its Top Training Companies programme. Both lists are unranked: they recognise providers in a diverse market rather than naming a single overall winner.

For training businesses, the results show the capabilities the organiser values. For buyers, they offer a starting point for comparing potential learning technology partners against your organisation's needs.

What the Selection Recognises

Training Industry gives four areas of assessment: the scope and quality of features, capabilities and analytics; market presence, brand visibility, innovation and impact; the strength of client portfolios and customer relationships; and business performance and growth trajectory.

The programme considers LMSs and other learning technology platforms, including offerings marketed as learning experience platforms or learning content management systems. The results therefore need context: start with the learning problem you need to solve, then assess whether a provider's capabilities fit your learners, reporting requirements and implementation plans.

If you are preparing your own recognition campaign, make your impact tangible. Connect product capabilities to customer outcomes, and combine measurable improvements with client testimony. A feature list tells readers what your platform does; evidence explains why it matters.
