The UK Sponsorship Awards 2027 final entry deadline is 15 January 2027. The early-bird deadline is 18 December 2026, giving brands, agencies and rights holders a reason to gather their campaign evidence before the holiday period. Neither the key dates nor the entry fees page specifies a closing time or timezone: confirm the cutoff with the organiser before submitting on deadline day.

Budget for the Right Entry Route

Standard entry costs £280 plus VAT by the early-bird deadline, rising to £350 plus VAT by the final deadline. The corresponding not-for-profit fees are £150 plus VAT and £230 plus VAT.

The edition announcement also offers free entries in arts and social purpose, charity or community categories until 18 December 2026, provided the entry comes from the sponsored party rather than the sponsor. Confirm that your organisation and category qualify before assuming a fee exemption. The organiser says entries will not proceed to judging unless payment is received in advance.

Connect Campaign Results to Business Objectives

In-house teams, consultancies and sponsored organisations or rights holders are invited to enter. The organiser's criteria focus on measurable contributions to predefined objectives, not the size of the organisation or budget. Choose a category that matches your strongest evidence and explain the benefit to both partners.

The campaign entry guidance sets a 1,200-word maximum, excluding the 100-word executive summary. The Wellbeing category within Sponsorship Agency of the Year has a 1,500-word limit. Campaign entries should cover background, objectives, execution and exploitation, then outcome and evaluation. Draft offline: the entry system does not save an unsubmitted entry.

A campaign can enter up to three categories, with an exception for an additional Research category entry. Build the narrative around what changed and how you measured it; Crafting Winning Awards Entries can help you organise the evidence before adapting it to each category.

Check Individual Nominations Separately

The edition announcement and key dates page give 10 February 2027 for the free Champion and Young Executive nominations, but the entry fees page says 26 January 2027. Confirm the applicable deadline with the organiser if you are nominating an individual; do not treat the campaign entry deadline as the nomination deadline.

Judging is scheduled for 11 February 2027, with the awards celebration at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on 23 March 2027. Register through the organiser's entry page to access further information without committing to an entry, and leave time for a colleague to review your submission.
